Very quiet news week
I know I say it on the odd occasion and end up writing a shit load and boring you to tears but, this really has been a slow news week. We will try and do our best to draw some stories but it will be like the old blood out the stone scenario. Wish us the best.

1999 what a year
Were any of you lucky to catch the video on our facebook site that George “Don Scott” Hoult whereby he is talking to a reporter on Good Friday about the money Marnoo raised from outside the corner shop. One person that got a good mention was Chris “Tangled” Webb who George said “was shearing not far from here and has decided to donate his day’s wages for the appeal”.

Did you see in the Herald Sun this week where some geek has found the alphabet by using google maps to find landmarks throughout Victoria that look like letters. Well the letter “R” is a curve shaped like an “R” (obviously) in the Avon River just downstream of the bridge where the Wimmera Highway cross the Avon River. Go to our facebook site to check it out.

Roast Lamb for mothers day
Now Square Leg loves his lamb and I now see where “Slammin” Sam Kekovich (ala his newphew) has taken up the campaign for us to now eat a lamb roast for mother’s day. I recon it’s a great idea especially for all those sheep farmers as it keep lamb products front and centre even if it’s about the dearest it’s been for a long time. Anyway have a bit of a laugh viewing the ad on our facebook site.
