Another weeks just flicks by and I’m starting to wonder if anything happens in between the Cricket/Tennis and Golf/Footy season. Well that’s the way it seems as I think my spies go into hiding at this time of the year. Anyway we will soldier on.....

Former tap ruckman Daryl “Maysie” May was disgusted to hear that a particular Donald agronomist was telling people not to bother sowing the crop this year as it aint going to rain. Apparently Norm “Guru” Duxson delivered the news to May who later walked away mumbling expletives.

A friend of John “Noisy” Nisbet’s was put in an unenviable position by his wife. She said it either me of the grog. The bloke said “I’ll give the grog a month’s trial”

Big game ahead

For us Tigers supporters there is only one thing on the radar, Carlton. Those cocky Carlton supporters have already pencilled it in as a win. I know there will be plenty of rib bashing when a group of native Carlton and Richmond supporters venture down to the MCG later this month. More about this later.

Mandy joins the list

Everybody’s favourite female bar lady Amanda Lory has joined my Facebook site. I remember those wonderful days when she used to ban me from the pub for giving her cheek back when I was a young colt. A little bit different to the current publican, you just get that cheesy bemused grin!!!!
